Amy Eddins
Amy received her Master's in Geography in 2015; her thesis, The Influence of Local Flora Variability on White-Tailed Deer (Odocoileus virginianus) Body Size at Fort Hood, Texas, explored factors that drive fine-scale geographic differences in animal body size. Amy previously taught high school advanced biology and environmental science. Her teaching incorporated interdisciplinarity (e.g., ecology, biology, geology, history, and political science) to emphasize the interconnectedness of Earth's systems and applications to real world problems while building students' critical thinking skills. Amy is pursuing a PhD in Environmental Science with a focus on animal ecology and biogeography. She currently teaches course in biological science.
